When you think marina, you think boats in slips and summer fun in the sun. You think dock parties and fishing and boat trips. But when it is freezing cold in Wisconsin during the winter, nobody has their boat in the water at the marina. They are all out of the water, sitting on the hard, waiting for spring to come back. So what is a marina to do with all that space, when most of it is frozen over with a few inches of ice?
Race motorcycles on it! Duhhhhhhhh!!!!
That’s exactly what they do at the Mckinley Marina and boy does it look like fun! I know lots of folks who ice race in cars as well, and have always thought it looks like it would be a riot. These guys here are certainly having some fun!
