This is what five liters of V8 can really do when cut loose. This is a Lola T70, a monster sports car competitor from the late 1960s. Almost all of the T70s made were Chevrolet powered, and were formidable opponents to the likes of the Ferrari 512, Porsche 917 and McLaren M6A. If it was racing in a sports car class towards the end of the 1960s, it fought a Lola and earned every place it made beyond this car. Driven by Andrew Jordan, an accomplished rallycross, Renault Clio Cup and British Touring Car Cup wheelman, at Silverstone, the premier UK road course, the Lola seems right at home doing what it does best: bellowing and making long distances short.
