Muscle Car Feature Video: BAD CAT – This 700HP Big Block BOSS 9 Mercury Cougar ‘Fastback’ Is Something Special

A few years ago, JF Launier from JF Kustoms built an insane Buick Riviera that won the Riddler Award at Detroit Autorama and then proceeded to get driven, and driven hard, while also being raced during Optima’s Ultimate Street Car Invitational and more. JF doesn’t build cars to just sit. I mean the owners are welcome to do that with them if they like, but the cars are all built to be driven and enjoyed, and his latest is no different. This is one special ride, and I think you’ll agree when you see the video.

First off, I think we can all agree after seeing the first shot of this car we all wish that Mercury had offered the Cougar in a fastback variety. I mean just look at this thing! It’s awesome. So is everything else about the car, including the big power Kaase Boss 9 that is under the hood and making 700 horsepower. And in the video below, you are not only going to see the car in detail, but also get to see the first burnouts, donuts, and more as this car gets thrown around SoCal with only 4 miles on it since completion.

Check it out.

Video Description:

This 700HP Mercury Cougar is not your ordinary car…Built by JF Kustoms, this 1968 Cougar features an entirely custom fabricated ‘fastback’ design with the inspiration of it being a prototype to what Mercury could have made! This is one extremely unique build with thousands of hours in it so sit back and enjoy the ride…
