SEMA 2017: Which One Of These Machines Would You Rather Race In Optima’s Ultimate Street Car Invitational?

Optima’s Ultimate Street Car Series has long been a battle ground for muscle cars, sports cars, fast imports, and even some exotics. And the battles have been pretty brutal as each group tries to prove that their cars are the Ultimate Street Cars. Evo and Subaru guys swear the all-wheel drive turbo cars are the combo to beat, while Corvette guys swear THEY are the car to beat. Meanwhile muscle cars like 1968 Camaros and 1966 Mustangs haul ass and can take the win. Then there are Viper guys, Porsche guys, GTR guys, and everyone else trying to prove that their combo is the ultimate. All of them are wrong…and all of them are right.

On any given day one of these cars below can take the win, depending on how the cards fall. It’s why we keep racing them. It’s why this series is so much fun.

But which one of the cars below would you most like to run, based on looks and personal preference alone? All of them are competitive. All of them have the horsepower, handling, brakes, and looks to pull it off.

Which one would you choose?

The DuSold Camaro gets my vote, but I’ve already both seen it in person and at speed at Road Atlanta. It’s even more impressive if you can see the interior and suspension.

I’d go for the mitsubishi with the corvette motor, light weight and a big engine in a car that could steer straight from the factory. The other all look good but personally I think it would handle the best

The 1955 Dodge Truck “Murphy” that was a golden ticket winner! Badass looking and handled the track like a champ.
