The Isle of Man conjures up images of motorcycles flying on narrow streets during the Isle of Man TT races, but a fun fact about the island: outside of certain specific areas like towns, choke points and high-pedestrian areas, most of the main roads on the island don’t have a speed limit. The local officials will still bust you if you’re driving too fast for conditions or are just straight-up being an ass behind the wheel, but this automotive freedom is something that the locals actually enjoy…they’ve shot down the idea of blanket speed limit, which leaves open the possibility of gorgeous drives, like the guys at Evo magazine did with a Lamborghini Aventador SV during a test. Look, we know it’s a supercar and that after you get past the speed details, the operatic exhaust note and the pretty bodywork, isn’t all that exciting. But be honest…if someone cut you loose with the key in a place like this, you would be in that car and gone in a haze of tire smoke before the representative could mutter, “Che cazzo?”
