Our friend David Carroll, who’s had project builds and features here on BANGshift before, has been playing with his squarebody Blazer for the past couple of years and it is a beast. This thing is super fun and he autocrosses the hell out of it. He even runs it on the road course, and it’s honestly not a slug on the dragstrip even though it’s running a 200 treadwear 18 inch wheel and tire combo that has a hard time hooking on a track like that. I’ve announced at multiple events that he runs in each year and have been happy to have offered some advice and opinions over the years as he’s moved into the wonderful world of turbos, which seem to scare the pro touring community for some reason.
