When 7 F1 Champions Met at Goodwood: The Goodwood Revival Brought Living History To The Stage

I love hearing stories from the guys that raced long before there was so much technology in cars. I mean they were the highest of tech in their time, but drivers from the 20th century didn’t have electronics like they do now. Some of those electronics might make the cars easier to drive, but some just complicate things as well, so drivers from the analog era have a very different view of F1 racing than their more modern counterparts. But these are the guys that helped shape F1 into what it has become today, the most popular motorsport in the world.

Video Description:

This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Masterard had one of the great Goodwood moments of all time. We had not one or two, but seven Formula 1 World Champions ready to meet the FOS fans. Sir Jackie Stewart, Alain Prost, Emerson Fittipaldi, Nigel Mansell, Mika Häkkinen, Mario Andretti and Jacques Villeneuve all joined Bernie Ecclestone and Karun Chandhok on the Goodwood balcony for an unforgettable moment.

The champions then talked about… well, what champions talk about in the library behind closed doors.

Were you there to witness this moment? Do you have a favourite F1 driver you’d love to see at Goodwood in the future?
