The holiday season is long past, and winter be damned, it’s time to get back into the swing of racing. Every form of motorsport is spooling up for the 2019 season and World Rally Championship racing is no different. The Rallye Monte-Carlo is kicking off and “19Bozzy92”, the YouTuber famous for capturing the speed and noise of anything that goes on in Italy, is on the job, recording the sound and fury of these turbocharged, all-wheel-drive monsters as they ran a few shakedown stages to dial in for the actual event which is still ongoing through January 27th. With some snow still on the ground and tire choices proving to be critical for each stage, picking a winner might wind up being as random as throwing a dart at the board…you’ll get what you get! We see Thierry Neuville’s Hyundai, Ott Tanak’s Toyota Yaris, and what we believe is Elfyn Evans’ Ford Fiesta all taking a crack at the course. With sections of road that look like dirt and cars pitched around, you get a slight feeling of the Group B and 1990s WRC days where sheer power prevailed!
