Hoonigan and Monster Energy have been great about releasing racing videos that borderline on pure automotive porn for years. For rally racing, they have Ken Block’s Gymkhana series. Mike Ryan does the “Size Matters” series, which is pretty much Block’s routine done in a Freightliner, and they have B.J. Baldwin launching his Chevrolet Trophy Truck over everything possible in the “Recoil” series. Just like Block and Ryan, Baldwin drives with the skill of a true professional and the abandon of a kid who stole his mother’s minivan.

This is “Recoil 2”, and it’s set in Ensenada, Mexico. The plan is to dump Baldwin next to his truck in the middle of nowhere and have him race pilot Dan Bilzerian to the beach. Whatever is in the way in between is Baldwin’s problem to deal with, be it residential housing, staircases, or creek beds. The bonus is that there is a bet set between Baldwin and Bilzerian, and if the truck isn’t at the beach within twenty minutes, Baldwin loses…something. I wonder what it is?
