Build Your Own Little Red Wagon With This 1969 Dodge A100 Truck!

Lets face it, Vans are kind of hard to find. Depending on the year of course. But when you get into the early 1970s or older, these suckers are usually rusted out, beat to death, or just don’t exist at all. So when you find one as rare as a Dodge A100 Truck, it’s pretty cool. Like Ford’s Econoline Van/Truck, the Dodge is all Van up front and pickup in the rear. Think reverse mullet if you will. Party up front, business in the rear. Arguably the most famous Dodge A100 in history was the Little Red Wagon wheelstander, and that would certainly be the easy and expected look to go with if someone bought this particular A100. But that’s not where we would go.

Instead we’d go buried on the ground with a more contemporary suspension system, probably on air, and we’d go for the custom cruiser look. Hammered, steelies, wide whites, metal flake, killer interior, and plenty of attitude. Yep, that’s where we’d go. But we won’t judge you if you put a blown Hemi out back either!

Here is what the seller has to say:

For sale is a 1969 Dodge A100 truck. 318ci motor. 904 torque flight Trans with shifter on dash. Fresh rebuild on transmission. Runs like a top. Been sitting in a field in Sonora for years. Brought it back to life. Body has zero rust. Great start to a killer restoration. Or run it as it is. Your choice. Has slotted mags. Fresh brake job done on it. New master cylinder. New rear shocks. Tubbed out rear wheels and pie cutters up front. Hoosier rubber on all four corners. Has small rust damage on floor in cab. Small dent on left rear corner. This one has power steering! Needs a new return line though. Comes with new PS belt and fluid. Has original black Ca plates. Current registration and clean title. Call, email or text is ok. Not many of these left. Especially with the 318 and add in the power steering option makes this one very rare. Let’s make a deal. Cash talks. I am also interested in partial traded for Harley’s 1969 and prior. Thanks for looking.

I’d just put some bedliner in it, fix the mechanicals, and use it as a good beater truck. Looks perfect for running errands and hauling stuff.
