Step Vans, Milk Vans, Bread Vans, Delivery Vans, whatever you want to call them, we’ve all seen then laid out at some car show all done up super cool and said “Man it would be kick ass to have one of those!”. Or at least I have. At least Eleventy times. But I always assumed they were big money, because the only ones I saw were at a swap meet for Eleventy Million Dollars, or was already done and available for big money. Well I was wrong!!! Yippy! I’m still broke and can’t afford one, but look at this cool 1960 Ford Step Van for only $2000. And there are several more available around here for the same amount, or less in some cases, that could be killer to build.
Side Note: We were blown away by the number of early and late model step vans for sale. Did you know you can buy a complete P60 ex Snap On truck for $5000? Yeah, with the lift gate, generator, air conditioning, and everything! Look around people. These could be some good tow and race rigs.
We would replace all the suspension, maybe even the entire chassis, and lay it on the ground hard. With a simple LS or small block swap, overdrive, and enough comforts inside to make it fun to ride around in. You know, giant cooler, couches, stereo, mood lights, blender, microwave, and a roof air unit probably.

In No HURRY TO SELL. I have a 1960 Ford Step Van / Milk Truck dually in real good shape for a 1960. It has a straight 6 and a 3 speed transmission (3 on the tree) it dose NOT run. It’s ran 10 years ago but has been sitting since. Here is what I know about this vehicle….Engine cranks over but dose not run. brakes work. Lights work. Has no battery. Hydralic clutch may need attention. Exhaust manifold cracked/broke. Windows have cracks and nicks. Needs 2 tires the others are good. It has a Rockwell rear end. It has aluminum body/box and floor. It’s a fixer upper. Will need to be towed. Have pink and it a clean title.

Should be out of DMV records because of sitting and not registered for over 10 years. So will require a vin # verification by DMV before you can register this vehicle.
