This 1964 Chevrolet C10 Is The Perfect Patina Shop Truck

This 1964 Chevrolet C10 Is The Perfect Patina Shop Truck

For some reason the 1960-1966 C-series Chevy pickups just haven’t been as hot as the later 1976-1972 models, but they seem to be making a resurgence right now. We like them, and always have, and are now starting to see them more and more either for sale at the Pomona Swap Meet, or fixed up at a show. So when we came across this one from the boys at Wheels N Motion, a tires, wheels, and accessories joint that is WELL known in the So Cal area, we immediately were drawn to it.

This 1964 Chevrolet C10 has got a rebuilt straight 6 in it, with the venerable Three on the Tree, has been lowered, has a stereo, etc, etc. I dig the stance, love the steel wheels and hubcaps, and everything works so you can get in it and drive right now. The patina is interesting too, which makes it cool, and any shop truck has got to have a logo on the door so we approve.

My dad had a ’62. 6 cyl., three on the tree, long bed. rode many a mile in it as a kid. His brother had one with an automatic and a/c. Love those trucks.

  2. Cool

My dad had a 61′ long bed he picked up for $300 around 1990 and drove daily for years. I picked up a complete but not running 66′ short bed in 2008 for $1000, and resold 2 years later for $1200. These are my favorite era of Chevy truck. I kick myself for letting that 66′ go, but such is life and we needed the space in the garage.
