This 1971 Ford Econoline Van Is A Weekend Away From Cruiser Perfection!

This 1971 Ford Econoline Van Is A Weekend Away From Cruiser Perfection!

If you cruised into the Mooneyes XMas Show, your local Cars and Coffee, or any Goodguys show in the country, with this van, lowered, on these US Mags or a different set of big and littles, everyone would stop and stare. This thing could be oh so cool, rusty passenger door and all. I wouldn’t change it. I might cut out the rust and rivet or screw a new panel in, but I certainly wouldn’t replace it and ruin the patina on the outside. I might get another door from the seller and cut the inside out of it. And then treat the rust that is bubbling on the outside, but it isn’t like it is going to take over the rest of the truck. It’s a door! And the hole in the floor board should be an even easier fix.

One nice thing about a van like this is that you can have horrible, or even funny fabrication going on and it will make people smile and love it even more. This thing rules.

Here is the info from the seller:

Current tags, clean title..

6 cylinder, automatic trans

Clean, straight body, but passanger door has rot and has a rot hole by gas pedal.
I have a few doors for sale if interested.

I have parts for it and am seeking parts if you have any..

Open to most all forms of payment

  1. Chevy Hatin' Mad Geordie

Just the thing to tow an altered wheelbase 65 Mustang around the strips – with a side oiler FE transplant that is…..

  2. Mopar or No Car

Boy, those new wheels sure do spruce the old gal up. Shiny distractions from the work needed to make it a reliable driver. You are looking at decades of neglect and will spend the purchase price fixing it and you won’t be done in a month of weekends.

P.S. Why does it need to be lowered?
