I love P10 vans, let me just get that out of the way first thing. These cool little box vans were built to haul stuff. Deliveries, ice cream, milk, mail, whatever, they were built to carry stuff, serve stuff, and be reliable. They weren’t built for speed, for highway driving, or anything like that, but because they often had logos on them for ice cream, or milk, or the local plumber they were kind of cool looking. Because they were utilitarian vehicles they are not something you see every day because they were scrapped when they reached the end of their life cycle.
The ones that have been saved though end up being pretty cool, especially when they are hot-rodded a little like this 1965 example right here. It’s still powered by an inline 6, but with a TH350 for the transmission now instead of the three on the tree it probably came with from the factory. It won’t win any drag races like this but it sure will get you down the road no problem. It’s got great paint scheme, ready for your logo, and it’s laid out on air ride which we totally approve of.
The look is right, and the only thing it needs in my opinion is a freezer for the ice cream and a few more seats for friends.
