Ultimate Adventure is a once-a-year, invite-only event that is hosted by the staff of 4-Wheel and Off-Road, aka Motortrend. Ultimate Adventure has been going on since 1999 and is something truly special. This off-roading road trip is special in that there are only a dozen “civilians” who get invited to join, with the rest of the participants consisting of staff and sponsors.
Every year, Ultimate Adventure hits a new wheeling spot in the country with drive days, wheeling days, and more. Think Power Tour and Drag Week had a baby that was all about going on off-road trails. This trip is over 1,000 miles and you have to bring all the stuff you need for fixes, maintenance, and camping, cause that’s how they roll.
I know a lot of folks who have done this event and I can tell you that I really want to join it at some point. This is one of those that looks like an absolute riot.
