Stadium Super Trucks are awesome, but I remember when Robby Gordon first decided to put this program together and people thought he was crazy. The idea of running stadium style off-road trucks, on Indy Car street courses, while jumping steel ramps, and taking corners sideways or up on three wheels sounds ridiculous and awesome all at the same time. Anyone who has been lucky enough to see them in person knows just how fun these trucks are and just how close and exciting the racing is. They are all equally prepared in an effort to keep the racing as close as possible. The great thing about that is the close finishes and the very common contact that makes things way more exciting.

With that said, there is also some carnage on a pretty regular basis which is fun for us to watch but probably kinda sucks to fix in between rounds. Oh yeah, because they race more than once per weekend which means the team of mechanics are doing some serious thrashing to make sure all the trucks are ready to go on race day. We are glad they do though because we think it is super fun to watch. We’ve been lucky enough to be around Robby and the crew at a few events and for some goof off fun sessions as well and can tell you that these things are a riot and you should try to get out and see some yourself.
