Finnegan has gone through a fair number of trailers and haulers in the past few years and on several occasions he’s talked about how heavy some of them have been to haul around. Well now he’s got himself a super light, all aluminum trailer from the Aluminum Trailer Company and boy is it fancy. I don’t own an enclosed trailer, but I do have a square body crew cab dually and if I was going to have an enclosed trailer I’d appreciate an all aluminum one just to make it nicer to haul and drive. Keep in mind, the lighter the trailer is the more you can haul in it.

So lets see what Finnegan thinks about hauling this new lightweight trailer with the ramp truck. I can’t wait to see it hauling two cars!

This is a big day! Episode 278 continues the whirlwind two weeks of my life that saw me break Blasphemi at the dragstrip in Alabama, rush to have the transmission repaired in North Carolina, display the car at the Performance Racing Industry Show in Indiana, and then road trip the ramp truck to pick up a new enclosed trailer before heading all the way home to Georgia. It was nuts but ended on a high note as we now have a lighter, safer, and more functional car hauler than ever before. Not only was I able to work directly with Aluminum Trailer Company to design and purchase my trailer but I was also able got a factory tour of how it was built, which I’ve shared here.
