The big rig drags that 1320Video covered were awesome, and we already shared the overall video from that race, but this one right here is some special carnage. This big rig pukes all its guts out after making a pull with 120,000 lbs of weight on the trailer and the truck turned up to full boogie mode. We’re guessing well over 100 lbs of boost and it just ate the turbos and the engine. Watch, cause it’s pretty impressive.

This was an interesting experience..standing right at the finish line of Onaway Speedway’s uphill drag strip as 280,000 pounds of American metal and lumber come racing towards us, and what happens? A turbo is absolutely shredded 15 feet away from our faces – sending metal fragments and smoke up into the air as if it were apart of the show. While somewhat sketchy, it was something we’ll never forget and something that will bring us back to Great Lakes Big Rig Challenge for years to come!
