If you like high-powered diesel trucks, and big rigs in particular, then the Great Lakes Big Rig Challenge is an event you just don’t want to miss. With several uphill drag racing events, show trucks, and so much more, this is a killer event for big diesel enthusiasts. If you like rolling coal, this is going to be your jam. Watch as these trucks race in the bob tail race, where there is no trailer on the trucks, and see just how quick some of them really are. They leave the starting line dumping the clutch, with several of these trucks hazing all eight rear tires through two gears. These suckers have some serious power and are putting the fuel to these beasts.
Our dude Greg Rourke sent us the link to this one and as usual, we were blown away by the power they are putting down. If you want to see even crazier action, look at the video below that one with the trucks fully loaded and racing up the hill. They pull the front wheels, or wheel as the case may be, off the ground and twist these trucks up like you wouldn’t believe. Something about it just doesn’t seem right which is probably why we can’t look away. It’s like watching a train wreck but with more horsepower!
That old GMC sure was cool!
