In the latest video of the Shermanator getting built, a twin engine Sherman tank outfitted Squarebody Chevy Crew Cab, it’s getting a bunch more stuff including custom graphics that don’t look new. Oh and an engine swap! You are gonna want to check this out.
Tracked vehicles are cool, and tanks are the ultimate tracked vehicle. Unfortunately, or should I say fortunately, it isn’t the kind of vehicle that everyone has access to. But if you like tracked vehicles and you are also a classic truck fan then you will probably dig this Sherman tank that has been outfitted with a Crew Cab squarebody right on top. No, it can’t shoot anymore, but it sure can haul ass through whatever terrain you want to go through. Okay, so maybe hauling ass isn’t its strong suit, but I assure you there isn’t much that will stop it from going forward.
This project is fun to watch in action, and even better once they start modifying it. The first two videos are below, so check them out and let us know what you think. I think it’s awesome, I think I’d totally ride around in it, and I think everyone wants to be this guy. What about you?
DEBOSS GARAGE sure isn’t messing around with his toys, but I bet his town isn’t too keen on him driving this sucker down to the Circle K for a slushy either. Where would you take it if you had this thing?

We pinstripe painted the truck to look like an ’80s Monster Truck! Check out https://mjsigncraft.com The Shermanator gets an engine swap! This 1980 GMC Sierra Grande crew cab sitting on a post-war Madill Yarder chassis built with Sherman M4A2 tank components… now has a 36-speed ‘semi-automatic’ (dual transmission), a 6v71 Detroit diesel, and a massive winch driven off a hydraulic pump powered by a 4-71T Detroit under the hood.
Who knew. Nice.
