Our love of all things RV and Van related around here is no secret, and people are always sending us cool listings for neat old motorhomes and trailers. I love it, and wish I had the room and money to buy a bunch of them. So when one of our readers sent us the link to this cool video featuring 10 of the coolest and quirkiest rvs and trailers, we couldn’t pass it up and had to share it with all of you. There are some very different rvs in this video, but the Starstreak Motorhomes and the Holiday House Geographic RV Trailers are probably my two favorites. Of course the Winnebago and the Phoenix Camper Van also do it for me.
There are some pretty cool others, including several I had never seen before, in the video below. Take a look at see what you think. Don’t forget to also tell us which ones you think are the best. Which ones turn your crank so to speak. Everyone has different tastes in old RVs , but that’s what makes them cool. Like hot rods and muscle cars, people have favorite eras and styles. Its not that any one choice is wrong, or right, it all just depends on who wants what. That’s what makes it so cool to me, and what makes going to a vintage rv show really fun. There are way more styles than you can imagine, and motorhome and rv trailer manufacturers existed all over the country back in the day.
Check them out below. And don’t forget to tell us which one you like most!
I love vintage trailers. I guess it comes from camping with my family with either the 22 ft Prowler trailer, or borrowing my grandparent’s 1960’s era Spartan 30 ft trailer.
I\’m partial to the winnebago brave, only because i had one. drove it to the
formula 1 races in watkins glen several years, what a time that was before
family camping area was a thing. (yes i was at the bog for the bus incidence)
I once saw an ancient Bedford (GM’s Vauxhall’s commercial division) truck with the body of a caravan (trailer) bolted to the baack of it. Instant RV and it was done so well it looked almost stock. So I thought how cool an early Ford Transit would be with a 302 transplant, a T5 gearbox, air ride suspension and a luxury caravan body faired into the rear chassis!
