Desert off-road racing is a big deal in Southern California. Nowhere in the country will you see more pre-runners, long travel trucks, and actual race trucks on the street than in SoCal. There are plenty of other off-road rigs besides desert racers, but desert racing genes run deep around here. There are way more places than you would think to actually going haul ass in one. This video was probably shot somewhere near Plaster City, between Ocotillo and El Centro in an area where lots of SCORE off-road racers test before heading across the border to Baja. We’ve shot lots of video down there and I can tell you that driving down the road, with a trophy truck or pre-runner just 50 feet off the road hauling ass through the whoops, is one of those things you will never forget. This is a fun place to be with the right group of trucks.
This Ford F100 is one of the right trucks. Just look at this one! Everything about it is ultra high end and with tons of suspension travel it can fly through the air or soak up the bumps with ease. Just watching this one haul ass across the dirt is impressive, we can only imagine what it is like riding along or driving. Watch the video and see what you think!
