My first tractor pull was at the fairgrounds in Salinas when I was probably 6 or 7 years old. I had spent my entire life at the dragstrip, so this was not the norm for us but it was fun for sure. Over the years I’ve been to several more and have had a great time at each of them. From NTPA pro level pulling events to local pulls, they are all fun to watch. And regardless of what kind of tractor you like you’ll find it at these events. We’re talking tiny tractors with big engines, big tractors with big engines, and big tractors with multiple engines. The multi-engine monsters have the same engine combos that you’ll find in an NHRA Pro Mod blower car and they make serious steam. So when you watch one run with 4 or 5 of these engines in them, all at full song, it’s epic. And the trucks are something else!
