We’re big fans of big travel desert racing trucks, and there is nothing badder than the ultimate desert machines, Trophy Trucks. These beasts make 800-900 horsepower, or more, and have suspension travel that can be measured in feet rather than just inches. The technology inside them is pretty awesome too, and while a lot of it is unique to off-road racing, there is a ton that isn’t. These trucks are usually outfitted with aftermarket cased TH400 transmissions, some with a GearVendors overdrive behind them, and other race components like high end EFI system, communications, instrumentation and more.

The fabrication is nuts, the tube work is mesmerizing, and the performance is second to none. These are the trucks that make everyone want a long travel pre-runner so that you can do what they do, in comfort, and drive it to and from the desert.
