Maybe it’s because I’ve watched the movie “Cars” one too many times for my own good but I tend to see faces in the front end of vehicles. Sounds a bit stupid, doesn’t it? Well, maybe it is, but you look at the Camaro in the picture and tell me you don’t see a child-like smile on the face of a car that just did a cannonball jump into a pond. You can crack as many redneck jokes as you’d like, but the air that the Mullet Machine cleared before splashdown at The Country Compound in Michigan was pretty impressive. It was like watching a puppy scampering about before jumping into a kiddie pool! And as for that axle…well, that sucks, but what happened? Was it the weight of the massive engine that the Camaro surely is hiding underneath that hood? Was there a rock in the water that caught the driver unaware? The Camaro doesn’t seem bothered…sure, it’s wheel is twisted, but just look at that face. You know that it will be back to play another day!
