You can call it juvenile. You can say that it’s a waste of time and good parts. You can be all about the risk involved, how you don’t want to hydrolock the engine, how cleaning up afterwards is gonna suck, and so on and so forth. But then you miss out on the fun and the glory that comes with launching your mega-truck high into the air before slamming into a pond! At the Louisana Mudfest, two guys went for the long jump and nailed it: Scott Green in the “Sail” GMC, and Peter Euerle in the “Chasin’ Paper” Toyota. These mega-trucks have to work to move all of their weight around, so seeing one with several feet of air under all four tractor tires is that much more impressive, and you’ll even get the on-board video from Euerle’s truck, showing all of the fun that is going on inside of the cab!
