The concept of mega trucks seems interesting enough: lots of power, tires taller than I am (and I’m pretty damn tall), and drivers with a “hell with it, let’s see what happens” attitude equates to a fun time in our book. We’ve seen them drive through water and swampland like it wasn’t even an obstacle to bother with, jump like a monster truck (with some rather painful landings) and…well, how much, exactly, can you get away with a tall, thin tire? Apparently, plenty, because these rigs can put the power down as well. This is a mega truck pull from the Boss Hogg Boggers’s Mega Mud Truck Sled Pull out at Redbank Valley Park in Fairmount City, Pennsylvania. They’ve got the height and they’ve got the power, but can they put it down or is all of that lift meant for the sloppy swamps? Sure, it’s only 300 feet on dirt, but when the weight on that sled moves forward, those thin tires might become more of a liability than a benefit…
