McTaggart’s Day Of Mud, Volume 3: A Camaro Showing How It’s Done

Mudding is often classified as a redneck sport. So be it, it’s loud, wild, dirty and fun as hell. It’s a fitting statement. And while there are plenty of high-dollar rigs with mountain motors that make romping through the mud bog look easy, does that really count when it comes down to it? No! The point is to have fun…and if you’re going to have fun, why not go all-in and embrace the redneck part of it all?

About the only thing as redneck as mudding is a late-70’s Camaro, especially the rubber-nosed type. While they were anemic from the factory, that didn’t stop the hordes from jacking the back end up, jamming them full of pissed off small-block and big-block Chevrolet and having a riot with them. So, it’s only natural to eventually see one on a Blazer frame romping through the mud with the greatest of ease. This one is courtesy of Full Circle Mud Bog at Smiths Creek, Michigan and was filmed in August 2012. A Camaro with a screaming V8 and mud flying everywhere…it’s beautiful!
