Money No Object: This 1966 Dodge/International Combination Rules All!

Money No Object: This 1966 Dodge/International Combination Rules All!

I am not the truck guy around here, yet I want this thing in a bad, bad way. Chad will probably see the potential and be on board. But what I’m hoping for is that Lohnes sees this 1966 Dodge Power Wagon/1994 International combination and decide that it’s been too long since he’s had something so big, so brawny, and so badass in his life that he has to pull the trigger on it. Okay, it isn’t a lumbering Chevy or GMC, like he’s had in the past. But who says he can’t try out both Mopar and Ford-influenced flavors in one shot? The looks of a Sweptline Dodge are right up his alley and a 1994 International with a DT466 and a five-speed Spicer trans not only covers his need for a transmission that requires an RSVP for each shift, but should run interstate speeds and even knock back decent-enough fuel mileage. And that’s something I’m willing to bet Brutus nor Goliath ever did back in the day.

The only things I’m on the fence about are easy fixes. I’d do something different with the front bumper. I’m not sure exactly what, but whatever it is, it should tie into some kind of fender flare for the front wheels. But other than that? Just picture this thing hauling tail down the road with a three-car dovetail that has a Duster, a D100 and a Diplomat ex-cop car on the back. Or whatever you’re into. Oh, one more thing: add air horns. HONK, HONK, BITCHES!
