Congress, Arizona is situated between Prescott and Wickenberg, west of Phoenix and is right at the base of Arizona’s biggest geological feature: the Mogollon Rim, the 2000′ separation between the high desert of the Colorado Plateau and the basin-and-range area of the Mojave Desert. In this “transitional” area are geographical features that are an off-road enthusiasts’ dream: rock formations, boulders and steep elevation changes. This footage, from the 2015 World Extreme Rock Crawling Challenge, shows just how much fun this area of the state can be.
In this video, the driver, who we believe is Matt Hemisoth, was trying to maintain a second-place position in the competition for the Unlimited class. However, once the official yelled out “thirty seconds” the driver decides that he needed to be off of the rock right now and lets it go. Once the front wheels hit the ground it seems that the buggy is going to front-flip, so in the spirit of saving grace he hits the throttle. Does he roll it or save it? Click play below to find out!
New underwear needed for the driver!
Awesome – Rock crawling is the 4 wheeled equivalent of motorcycle trialing – can we please please please have it in England!
If any English Bangshifter knows if we already do – please let me know.
I think the spectators may have a more urgent need for new underpants. Some of them were clearly not expecting what happened.
That is a pretty quick way to get down, at least.
WOW!
