The International Eagle Revival: The Reveal Of The Finished Truck!

The International Eagle Revival: The Reveal Of The Finished Truck!

$1,800 bought this 1986 International Eagle 9370, with a missing transmission, and plenty of work required before this Binder was ever going to see another mile turned on the odometer. Derelict and left to the elements, it would’ve been easy to just let another old semi tractor go to the end and be done with it. Raid the good parts, ditch the rest, and collect on the scrap cost. Such a common theme anymore and it stays that way until the phrase “I haven’t seen one of those in so long…” gets spoken. Then it becomes a subject of interest, a throwback to back when, when this rig was someone’s brand new work beast, when it shined and driving it bolstered pride. Maybe it’s the automotive sickness in me, but I personally love to see someone get past the finances of a vehicle and get into the passion behind it. Sometimes you save something because it deserves to be saved.

Welker Farms has finally finished bringing the 9370 back to life and while it hasn’t really changed much since we first saw footage of it back in January, the truth is that this truck is leaps and bounds from where it originally was. While nobody is ever going to change their brand loyalty…you think Ford and GM guys are fierce? HA!…what can be said is that International is a beauty that should be good to go for several hundred thousand miles…at least!
