Ok, so there is only a little bit of body left that identifies this purpose built rig as a Chevrolet Colorado. So what? This is one bad mother, and are in bonafide lust over it. Where do you start? It looks set up to conquer just about anything, has impressive hardware (check out the Axletech 4000 axles at both ends!), four-wheel-steering, and underneath the hood, a LQ4 6.0L with LS3 heads and the blower off of an LSA turns fuel into one of the most notable exhaust noises we’ve heard in a long damn time. The growl made by this Colorado is industrial-grade violence, especially when the engine is working to drag this truck out of a mud pit. Owner Matt Christian used the 2016 Mountain Havoc event in Bonners Ferry, Idaho to debut the rig, and walked away with third place. If that’s what a third-place run looks like, what does the first place rig look like?
