If there is one thing we’ve ever learned from watching vehicles jump, it’s that you don’t want to come up short on the landing ramp. If the back wheels catch the lip of something, the next few seconds are going to be filled with all sorts of crunching noises that are not good, be it vehicle, glass, or in worst case situations, the meat bag behind the wheel. That really comes into play when you have a large-by-huge truck in any kind of “freestyle” event…that’s pretty much promising that at some point in time, four wheels will be pointed skyward, for better or worse. Pete Eurle in the “Chasin’ Paper” Toyota mega truck was working things out on the course at Iron Horse Mud Ranch during the Trucks Gone Wild freestyle event, and from where we are sitting, the run actually looks pretty mellow, right up until the back wheels catch on a jump and bounce the truck ass-over-teakettle before settling onto it’s side. Other than some paint rash, we doubt the Toyota is severely hurt and should be back on it’s feet in no time.
