Sounds like a great day at the track. When you push the equipment you get to find all the weak links!

I found a used boost-a-pump on the foxcast classified, other than running the trigger wire to the Holley it's in and appears to be working at idle. Hopefully it will help fuel pressure under power.
As a reminder 340LPH aeromotive pump, 10 ga. Power wire. Stock lines, rails, regulator, 60lb/hr deka injectors.

With the car idling. Activating the BAP voltage to over 17 volts and the fuel pressure went up 3 psi. 36 to 39psi. According to Holley. I finally put the I/O module in. I am going to say the stock return doesn't want a bigger pump with out running it PWM.

Hopefully I can turn the boost up a little at the track and maybe not have to worry about having too much E in the tank.

Did a little junkyard therapy today. Grabbed a couple LS oil pressure sensors one for my tow pig, it had been reading full pressure for at least a year. It now ideals at 40!

I got two ride high sensors One from GM (Yukon?) one from a Ford expedition. The goal is to measure clutch position.

Also picked up a T-MAP off a Turbo FCA. I was thinking about putting it near the turbo inlet. Anyone have a way to look up scaling and pin outs?

Have been working on it some lately, swapped out the temp wire and wire nuts for loomed wire with crimps and heat shrink on the BAP. Got the GM ride height sensor mounted and wired to the Holley and an output run to the 2-step input. Got the drive shaft sensor ring printed and sensor bracket made. Need to wire it back to the Holley, and glue the ring on.

Probably going to change the fluid in the T5 see if it makes it shift better to second (I think the ignition cut from the clutch position sensor will help more). Or if it needs to come out.

Driveshaft speed sensor install was a flop, need to troubleshoot shoot it. Changed the transmission fluid, the stuff that came out was shiny. Took it to Roxboro and ran the 1/8. Didn't miss any shifts! BAP is doing it's job fuel pressure is rising with boost instead of falling! I had E50 in the tank. Not sure if it has enough for E85, may have to continue to cut it. Made 4 passes. The final pass l finally was able to hold the gas to the floor from stage to finish line! Driver mod was worth over a tenth. New PB 1.46, 7.24 @ 98.08 mph! I need to tighten up the clutch tamer some and bring the boost target in a little sooner and work on the PWM table to try to get some oscillation out.

I am going to call the transmission ok for now. Time to work on the rest of the list of things to do for the November race. Need to decide if I should test again, or hold off and not put more passes on it.

So glad all those Volvo parts are working! And Dick thought they were beyond redemption.

Knock on wood, the Volvo engine runs great! The only upgraded part is the Fluidamper, larger injectors and of course the turbo! Volvo engines are know to like turbos!

Street and Yeet 2025 is in the books. I was able to improve my average a little over my last SNY (2023). D1 7.31, D2 I got a new PB 1.43 / 7.20! It appears it even got a sliver of daylight under the tire! D3 first pass I forgot to turn on the boost controller and ran an 8.04 on gate. Second pass it spun, I had had enough of Carolina and decided to hit the road. D4 7.29. I had hoped to run in the low 7's all week. Stretch goal is to run a 6.99 with the stock 5.0/T5 been reviewing logs I think it's time to add compressed air for boost control!

7.20 should put me in the low 11's I would like to have a 10 second 1/4 time slip to hang on the wall. Not sure I am going to be able to make it this year hopefully before it gets hot next. The older I get the less I dislike 1/8 drag racing. The slower speeds out the back is a little safer (I was going 96 mph in the 1/8. There were cars there over 150) and it's got to be a little easier on parts.

Got to love NC! 58 degrees and the racetrack has TNT! Successful day at the racetrack! The Stock 5.0 engine seems to still love the boost. Good weather and a pretty clean pass from the driver and a little up arrow and we made a new PB!

                        1.36 60'
                        6.996 @ 96.48 1/8 mile
                        10.876 @ 122.37 1/4 mile

According to the data log it went 0-60mph in 3.45 seconds.
Guys at the track were impressed buy the short time. I have been wanting 6/10 second time slip from this car and now I have one! Reaching my 2025 goal feels good! Need to decide what my 2026 goal should be. Part of me says turn it down and go bracket racing. Part of me says put the P heads B303 1.7RR and Explorer intake on it. Part of me says sell it and get a hatchback.

I picture of the car and time slip will be framed and hung on the shop wall!

Excellent results for an engine Dick thought was scrap. So cool that you're having fun with it - that's what counts.

Sometimes the ones that get kick to the curb try the hardest. I know I am not the first person to run high 10's on a stock engine but I am worried it's on borrowed time.
