Bob,
Do you (or a friend) have an old empty housing you could temporarily bolt under the car. Then use two of those wheel dollys with 6x6 blocks between the dolly and the axle. Cut a little "V" in the block for the housing to rest in. It wouldn't be bad to have a couple of those dollys for use in the future either.
Even a 3 inch in dia pipe off one of your job sites could work ! I have one, want me to bring it over?

I still see a couple square inches you haven't used yet . They will probably disappear when you get the rest of the accessories put on . Alternator swap on a mod motor "used to be" the easiest job there was. Doesn't look that way anymore
Where I will go and what I will do come January. Oshkosh Corp. just announced layoffs for 450 people, of which I'm pretty sure to be included. Any leads would be very much appreciated.
