1957 Pontiac Safari Feature Video – Johnson’s Hot Rods Builds a Rare Wagon With Epic Stance and Finish

I’m a wagon fan. Period. Long roofs rule and I own several of them, in a variety of formats. Anyone that is a regular around here knows it and I can honestly say that I dig wagons from a variety of eras and in a variety of shapes and sizes. What makes one wagon stand out from another might be body lines, or stance, or just the attitude in general, and this 1957 Pontiac Safari wagon that the guys at Johnson’s Hot Rods ticks all those boxes. In typical Johnson’s fashion, this thing sits right, looks right, and sounds right.

Lucky for us, John Jackson was on hand shooting video of this beast while he was also shooting a full feature on it. His photography speaks for itself, and we love the behind the scenes access that videos like this bring to the table.

Video Description:

Everyone loves a Nice Wagon, and the Crew at Johnsons built one of the coolest cruisers ever. Sitting on a Roadster Shop Chassis, and powered by a 461 c.i. Pontiac, Johnsons just recently made ‪@GoodGuyRodandCustom‬ Top 5 Most Bitchin and Won Johnsons Hotrod Shop the Chevrolet Performance GM Iron Builder of the Year. Hope you enjoy this wagon and hope we get to see more cool wagons like this in the future
