Shockingly, Lohnes is not banned from entering Canada. Due to this loophole, he’ll be up in the Great White North this weekend announcing the IHRA Nitro Jam event at the Grand Bend Motorplex in Grand Bend, Ontario, Canada. The event looks like a riot with a ton of nitro burning classes along with the full mix of sportsman racing as well.
Whenver you can talk about Nitro Harleys, Nostalgia Nitro Funny Cars, Fuel Altereds, modern Top Fuel Dragsters, jet trucks, Pro Mods, Stockers, Super Stockers, and on and on and on, it’ll be a fun weekend. We already called ahead and asked the guys at the Molson plant to put on an extra shift. We’ll just say that his liver has never met a beer it didn’t like.
If you are attending the event, drop by the tower and say hello! He’ll be equipped with BS stickers and stuff to hand out! It looks like an awesome weekend of weather. Let’s hope his vocal chords hold out for three days of screaming and bathing in Nitro!
