Life is a Highway is a great song that speaks to every single one of our roadtripping genes, and when it was originally sang by Tom Cochrane back in 1991 it was a big hit and has always been a song you sing to since. Then in 2006 with Disney’s Cars movie the song was resurrected, this time with Rascal Flatts singing it. Regardless of which version you like, we’ve got them both right here. I was surprised that a song riddled with so much ham-fisted double entendre about nookie “made it” into a kids’ movie.
I expected more of a hard-core “rodeo” vibe out of LeDoux. Disappointing.

I grew up listening to fellow Canuck Tom Cochrane so it’s his for the win for me , although Rascal Flatts version was great for the Cars movie
