BangShift Question Of The Day: If Money Were No Object, What Old Or New Dream Car Would You Buy?

BangShift Question Of The Day: If Money Were No Object, What Old Or New Dream Car Would You Buy?

With all these cool car auctions coming up featuring dealer and barn finds, plus cool collections, and even stuff from the Petersen Museum, it got us thinking. If we had a pile of cash, and an auction that featured every car we had ever dreamed of, what would we buy? It seems like such a simple question, but it’s really not. I mean my brain starts going because my ultimate dream car is already in my garage, my ’69 Camaro convertible. But what about the ’69 Chevelle that I’ve always wanted? A jillion old motorhomes, a COPO Camaro, the Cheez Wiz ’55 Chevy, Dobbertin’s Nova, or the only COPO Camaro Convertible ever? There are like 400 more on the list! What the hell do we do?

Shut up. Don’t laugh. It’s not funny. You think you can pick just one. Okay, ready, set, go.

What is it? What’s the one car you would buy right this second if money was no object?

I’d start with a Ford GT for a new daily driver. Then I’d go looking for bad ass musclecar sedans with radio/heater deletes, dog dish hubcaps and manual transmissions, plus any factory drag cars.

  3. Joe H,

1965 Dodge A990 Hemi Coronet…*BOOMB* there it is, that easy…now man up and pick yours Nancy!

This is a toughie, I would get a new Ford GT and have Ernie Elliot build me a bad to the bone NASCAR high winding 351 Cleveland….

  5. Mopar or No Car

    1. Stutz Bearcat — untouchable in its day, set land speed records that held for decades.

    2. Hudson Hornet — ruled NASCAR for three years in a row with a 6-cylinder engine

    3. A Tucker — enough said

  6. Mopar or No Car

    4. Deusenberg roadster — there are no words, just look at it and you’re in love

    5. Facel Vega — yeah, it’s got a hemi

    6. The only woody Imperial ever made
