Just got my little truck back from having a brake issue I was having a hard time with, solved. It was selected for a story in Hot Rod Magazine’s “Rescue Repair”, which is pretty cool. So Saturday there’s a small Cruise-In in Bowling Green I think I’ll take one of the grandkids to. The truck is just a beater daily driver, a 1980 Plymouth Arrow pickup with a 360/904/narrowed 8.75 rear in it. It’s a Work in Progress…gonna be lots of fun when its finished though.

Thinking of going to a HotRod&Custom meeting in Herten, Germany.
But there’s also a Saturday Night Cruiseshow in my hometown in The Hague, The Netherlands.
Sunday will probably be spend installing a new Borgeson Powersteeringbox in the Dodge Dart.

I will be thinking about installing nitrous on my S-10. T hat is all I can do is think about doing it as I like many other gear heads are currently deployed to the Middle East sweating in the desert so you all can enjoy the local cruise in, show, races or whatever suits your fancy. Will just have to wait awhile before I can enjoy those things again

We all appreciate your sacrifices for us. Stay safe over there.

I will hopefully finish the head swap on the Caprice’s 454 this weekend.

mine’s an annoying one…my car runs on LPG (propane) and in Australia your tank has to be inspected every 10 years – and I just noticed mine has just run out…soo…either get mine tested at a cost up around $400 or find another one with a few years left in it. Just missed out on one for $25 that still had 6 years to go…aargh.
Theres nothing worse than having to do work on a car that’s running perfectly fine. My gas system has no issues at all, but because of a legalese thing I have to rip out a perfectly good component to replace it….
