I’ve had the privilege of living in places that have unbelievably gorgeous views over my years on Earth. I’ve lived in the high deserts of Arizona and got treated to the colorful Mogollon Rim vistas at sunset. I’ve seen the wide-open and empty deserts of the Middle East at their most peaceful (and yes, that does happen.) I’ve sat on the Pacific coast of Washington State and watched the sun sink below the waves on a warm August evening, but one place still close to my heart is sitting at the foot of Pikes Peak itself, Colorado Springs. Words will forever fail to properly describe just how awesome it is to have mountains like that as a backdrop for the city. It doesn’t matter what season, the area is gorgeous and if you’ve ever seen Pikes Peak International Hillclimb footage, you’d be likely to agree, if not at least understand where I’m coming from.
My brother now lives in “the Springs” and just like I do, he appreciates the beauty of the area. He loves the mountains, tolerates the snow, and any chance he gets he takes a moment to admire the scenery. Doesn’t matter what is in the way…not even the non-driving Honda owner that somehow managed to perfectly balance their SUV on a plowed-up bit of snow. I guess artistic shots beats the game I used to play, where I looked for the rolled-over Subaru Outback or Chevy Camaro and tried to guess what state they came from…

But honey, the dealer said it would go anywhere!
This is why we hadn’t heard from ColoradoKid / GuitarSlinger in a while.
Let’s think…with a set of 44’s I might be able to drive it off? BMT…drive through Washington DC when it snows, it’s like an aboriginal finding a Coke bottle.
Early trials of the new “Brail Lane” have not gone to plan.
Diagrams c/w suggestions for improvements submitted by the test drivers were found to be illegible by project engineers??
