(Picture: WFLA) Driving in a flash flood is a bad idea. It’s bad for the car, and if you misjudge and wind up swimming, it becomes bad for you as the driver. You just don’t do it, but no matter how many times you hear that from local authorities and the news, there’s always that one idiot that just cannot help themselves. Currently Florida has been getting rain from a system in the Gulf of Mexico, and it’s been heavy…very heavy. Streets are flooded enough that kayakers and paddle-boarders have taken to roadways. But let’s say that, despite the circumstances, you absolutely have to go out for some reason. What would you take? The SUV with four-wheel drive? Maybe the ATV? Not this guy, no…he broke out his Lamborghini Gallardo to travel around. Here’s all we’ve got to say: Watch out for low-flying pelicans. Take your best shot, BangShifters!
Wait – you mean to tell me that it was the Lotus Esprit that had the James Bond submarine option?
I think someone is cooking up a little insurance fraud.
Winner winner, chicken dinner!
Aetna, I’m Gallardo I met ya!!
:):)
Here in Arizona we have ” The stupid motorist law “. True. If you do this along with possibly going to jail you pay all cost by fireman, police, helicopter etc. if they have to rescue you. But like you said a lot of numb nuts try it every storm. It’s a beautiful thing !
