If Your Favorite Speed Shop Had $25 Speed Parts For Black Friday, Would You Camp Out All Night To Get One?

If Your Favorite Speed Shop Had $25 Speed Parts For Black Friday, Would You Camp Out All Night To Get One?

Let’s say all the Summit and Jeg’s warehouses, and every independent speed shop in America, had $25 Intake manifolds, or $75 Holley Carbs while supplies last on Black Friday. If that was the case, would you camp out on the curb with your buddies so you could get one? You see people on the news all over the place waiting in line for hours, or even days in some cases, just to get the big crazy deal on a phone or tv or toy.

Would hot rodders do the same thing? I have to say that I am pretty sure the cops would have to be called at some point because everyone would be sitting around bench racing and telling lies about how fast their junk is until someone challenged someone and the street racing or burnout contest would start. I’m down with that by the way. And I’m one of those people that has never done the camp out to get in the store first thing. I’m not sitting around waiting for the store to open to go get a new toaster oven at 95% off. But you put Holley Carbs for sale for $75 and my ass is sitting outside drinking high octane hot chocolate, singing Christmas carols, and talking smack.

Would you be right there next to me?

If they had the EXACT part I absolutely needed at a price not be seen at any other supplier the other 364 days of the year, maybe.

nope, im good freinds with the two owners of my local speed shops. they would put the parts to the side for me, lol.

  3. Only 11 more nights out here 'til that game goes on sale

The internet has made doing business, conducting commerce, and finding what you need a breeze.
Why wait on line for anything other than a new Apple iphone?

Yea I would,I deserve it. I once waited inside Wal Mart for $50 Game Boy somethings that my kids had to have. I’m no longer allowed to go shopping on Black Friday. Going on 15 years now sleeping in on Friday after Thanks Giving.

Considering that I sat out on a Christmas day years ago to get a big flatscreen TV in -11c. Yes I would definitely do it for speed parts. My wife and my kids would be there too, Make it into a new family tradition! Of course we live in Canada and Thanksgiving was weeks ago so the day before black Friday is just another day.

A BIG HELLLLL NOOOO !!!!!!! The thing these idiots camping outside don’t realize is that the store always puts an item on a “one day only” sale, and you think that if you camp outside you’re gonna get the deal of a lifetime, when in the real world, they’ve only ordered one or two of that item just to get your dumb ass into their store……….. So there you are after waiting all those hours, sitting outside freezing your ass off, you finally get into the store, and you can be the first one to stand in front of that item, and it clearly has the “once in a lifetime” price right on it, some minimum wage , pimple faced, punk will always say… “sorry , we just sold the last one” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
