“Brand New Car” by the Rolling Stones may not rank up there with some of their more famous hits, but the album Voodoo Lounge did go double platinum and was number 2 in the charts. Still, it’s a cool car song, especially for you ladies who want Mick Jagger to sing sexily to them. It is after all a song that is really about a new girl, and all her fun “options”. In fact, since the ’60s when surf music and car music really were literal stories of hot rods and racing, most car music has somehow had some tie in to women. This one is no different.
