Arguably one of the most magical couples in rock and roll history, Ozzy Osbourne and Randy Rhodes were magical. “Crazy Train” was on Ozzy’s 1980 debut solo album Blizzard of Ozz, which is most definitely one of the top metal albums of all time. Taking crazy to a new level has always been Ozzy’s gift, and this song is no different. The untimely death of Randy Rhoads in 1982 threw the metal community into a frenzy as he had become known for his classical guitar riffs with a heavy metal twist both with Ozzy and Quiet Riot.
With serious political undertones and opinions, Crazy Train is a song who’s lyrics make you think if you want to, and just rock out if you don’t. Although one of Ozzy’s oldest solo songs, Crazy Train has become the anthem for all Ozzy fans world wide. So climb aboard this morning cause the train is about to leave the station.
