Junior Brown, guitar player extraordinaire, inventor of the “Guit-Steel”, and one time house band of the famed hot rod hangout Continental Club in Austin, does it up right with this one. His famed song, “Highway Patrol” , came out in 1993 and reached the number 73 spot on the U.S. Billboard Country charts. It’s one of those songs you can’t help but sing to, and for some reason always comes on while you are hauling ass down the highway on a road trip. You better sing along, because that may be the only way to keep from getting pulled over.
