Yesterday, Lohnes showed you a 1980 Chevrolet 3+3 dually that is jaw-droppingly sweet. 454, crew cab, ready to roll down the road as long as your credit card can pay the fuel bill. I can’t pick apart his choice, it’s a sweet rig, but here’s the alternative I had to go hunting for after seeing the big dually. And I’m not shy about this: forget that 3+3. This 1971 Chevrolet K20 is what you really want. From it’s perfect yellow/white two-tone paint to the restrained lift kit, the 400hp (claimed) small-block powering it or the fact that it’s this pretty due to a full frame-up restification, this is a gorgeous example of one of the most beautiful pickup trucks ever made. And whoever shot the photos of the K20 on the snow hopefully was paid handsomely for their time and effort, because it’s no longer an eBay ad, it’s a brochure, and on the front, you have this:

Beautiful classic truck, cabin in the mountains with snow. All you need is a warm mug of cider in one hand and the knowledge that nobody in a brand-new truck, not even a top-tier fully loaded diesel, will look as legit as you do driving this Chevrolet.
