Sage Karam is twenty years old and has been on a meteoric rise to glory in racing since 2010. He has pulled wins in Formula 2000, the Star Mazda Championship, Indy Lights, USSC, and last year managed to place ninth in the Indy 500 after qualifying 31st. The guy can drive his ass off, no doubt, and there’s plenty of high expectations for him to do great things for Chip Ganassi Racing, especially with the Indianapolis 500 coming up. However, racing wins aside, he’s a twenty-year-old, and sometimes it doesn’t hurt to have a little fun. However, we highly doubt this is what Sage had in mind for “fun”. Teammates Dario Franchitti, Tony Kanaan and Scott Dixon conjured up a plan that involved Sage’s Chevrolet Camaro and a wrap job that is very…um…pretty. Team boss Chip Ganassi was in on the deal, and has said that the “Karamo” has to stay wrapped until after the Indy 500.

This is why you don’t loan out your cars, but at least Karam has a good sense of humor about it.
