We are still a ways from seeing the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro up close and personally, but thanks to the world of the smartphone and YouTube, we are able to see what manufacturers are up to at a nearly-up-to-the-minute pace. Take, for example, this Chevrolet Camaro that was caught whipping around the Nurburgring. We know it’s a sixth-gen model from the headlights and taillights, so why the tons of “dazzler” camo covering the entire body? Because this, folks, isn’t a model that has been shown already. When the sixth-gen was unveiled, we saw the turbo-four base model, the V6 RS, and the V8 SS…that leaves at least two nameplates out: ZL1, which has been the monster-motor Camaro, and Z/28, which was the last-generation’s eye-waveringly expensive track-day version. We aren’t completely sure which model this particular car is. Our heads immediately think “Z/28” due to that car’s massive track-focused leaning, but we’ve been wrong before. Take a look and listen at the video and see what you think. The sound is snotty and the car is working the infamous track very well…but it would be our luck that this is the upcoming “Type LT” trim package.
