Where does one draw the line between mudding and a sunken truck? Is it when the bumper dips below the water line? Maybe it is when tire motion is only noticeable by ripples along the surface of the water. You could even argue that it is the point at which the exhaust note is silenced by the water. We can’t say for sure when that point is reached, but we can say that this late 1980s/early 1990s Suburban is trying like hell to dance on that separation like no other truck we’ve ever seen. Look at it…it reminds us of a hippopotamus in a way: in the water it seems to be quiet and almost graceful, but if it comes out onto land, it is going to make you wish you had ran a lot sooner. It’s not quick about moving around, and it isn’t particularly loud or violent, but the big ‘Burb plods it’s way along with a solid intention.
